What Are Consent Orders?
A Consent Order is a document prepared and agreed by the spouses and approved and sealed by the Family Court of Western Australia. The Consent Order records the terms of the spouses' financial settlement and parenting arrangements after their divorce or separation. You must have a formal settlement agreement if you do not want your spouse to make a claim on your assets later.
